A Carnatic music association founded by Maragatham Ramaswamy Carnatic is the classical music of Southern India. It is based upon a complex system of ragam and talam. The melodic foundation is the ragam. Ragam is basically the scale. The seven notes of the scale are Sa, Ri, Ga, Ma, Pa, Dha, and Ni. Ragamalika is a garland of Ragams. This website has been built by the students of Ragamalika as a tribute to the works and teachings of Maragatham Ramaswamy.
